Tesla or Tesla Motors is an American company that manufactures electric vehicles and electrical energy storage solutions.
The company was founded in July 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, but the current management of the company is named as co-founders of Elon Musk, Jeffrey Brian Straubel and Ian Wright.
In 2019, Tesla became the largest electric vehicle manufacturer in the world. Tesla Model 3 sedan became the best-selling electric car in history, breaking the 800 thousand mark. Tesla Co-founders & CEO:

Martin Eberhard

Martin Eberhard is an engineer, entrepreneur and inventor from Silicon Valley. He received a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1982 and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the same school in 1984.

Marc Tarpenning

Marc Tarpenning is an American technology entrepreneur who co-founded Tesla Inc. with Martin Eberhard in 2003.
